Extreme Roaring Hunger + Tangible Presence

THE MAIN POINT:

Something awesome is happening at SEU in Florida… the explosive mix of Extreme Roaring Hunger plus the Tangible Presence of GOD…

TEXT:

Mid-February 2026, there is an incredible GOD-event happening right now at SouthEastern University (SEU) in Lakeland Florida.

It started Wednesday 2/11, and it’s still burning as of this writing.

What’s happening? “We don’t know what’s going on… we don’t know what’s happening… be we do know that something is happening, and we are doing our very best to lean into it” says SouthEastern University campus Pastor, Jonathan Rivera…

Listen to this highly insightful interview between Christian Broadcast Network (CBN) and Pastor Jonathan…

Jonathan was asked if right now this is a Revival, and he says, “No, and here’s why; Revival is something that can only be evaluated in hindsight… only looking back, we can say ‘that was truly a Revival’…”

Interesting.

They’re using language of ‘move of God’ and ‘spiritual outpouring’, a ‘spiritual awakening on our campus’.

Watching the LiveStream has been fun… [if you’re reading this after the ‘something’ wraps up, the link will probably be down…]

SOME TAKE-AWAYS:

– I am totally stoked that Pastor Jonathan says that they’ve had Asbury leaders on ‘speed-dial’, talking with them almost hourly, on HOW to shepherd and properly lead and coordinate this ‘Visitation-outpouring’, including immensely practical issues like facility, security and healthy schedule.

– There is NO DOUBT that SEU is totally leaning into this

– There is NO DOUBT in my mind that SEU is making a good and proper decision to limit admission into the very-small 800-capacity chapel to only SEU students and faculty…

– The former comment may make some people upset… but shielding these students from the on-slaught of on-lookers, lookie-lews, and… more importantly… the wave of opinions, theological debate and general know-it-all that seems to come pouring out in these situations is… well, young Solomon-level wisdom…

– THIS outpouring is for the SEU community… want to be in the middle of your own outpouring/visitation/potential Revival…? Walk the Ancient Pathways, burn with a Holy passion and fuel a Holy and unquenchable hunger for HIM and HIM alone…

[yes, the above takes an enormous amount of time/talent/treasure, is very disruptive to ‘normal life’ and ‘regular Church life’, but… but… BUT…}

Lastly…

– THIS new Outpouring at SEU is a total INTIVATION to all of us…

the Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!”

Let the one who hears say, “Come!”

Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life!

              Revelations 22: 17-18

[I’m not booking a flight to Lakeland, I’m gonna get with God and press in and ask for an extreme roaring hunger…]
