The One-Name Revival [part 1, Quaranteen week 74  ]

The Scriptures say:

And there is salvation in no One else; for there is no other Name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12 NASB

 …and that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I am the LORD; that is My name! I will not yield My glory to another or My praise to idols.

[just for fun, let’s put in Adonai (Joshua 3:11) and Yehoshua/ Iésous, (Strongs ref 2424)… also the various Greek: ΒΙΒΛΟΣ γενέσεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ υἱοῦ  , which denotes/derives from the Hebrew and Aramaic name Yeshua or Y’shua (Hebrew: ישוע‎)  all used in Matt 1:21.  ]

So many titles, so many character-Names revealed throughout the Scriptures, all clarified into the One Name for us in the incarnation… JESUS! (***)

In worship…

In devotion…

In surrender…

In salvation…

In redemption…

In sacrifice…

In covenant…

In the Church that bears His Name…

In ‘Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven’…

In the Holy Scriptures… [you can say “in the Bible”, if it helps you…]

In healing, miracles, signs and wonders…

In song-services, real ‘worship music’, real ‘times of worship’…

In ALL things…

…including ‘in REVIVAL, visitation and Presence’…

…no other Name given in the universe by which we can even breathe, let alone live and move and have our being…

No. Other. Name. Period.

“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name.”

Ephesians 3:14-15 NIV

Jesus Christ, High King of Heaven, Lord of all Heaven and Earth.

The only Name.

No other Name.

I really felt the Lord wanting me to write this clear, first-of-a-series AdoreTheLord blog on ‘The One-Name Revival’.

Jesus Christ being THE foundation of… well, everything (Colossians 1:15-23, Isaiah 28:16, 1Corinthians 3:9-12), perhaps it’s critical to call out THE foundational truth of the Supremacy of Christ Jesus before any other discussion on the now-emerging ‘One-Name Revival’ and Visitation.
