We Are the New Jesus Awakening

I am a part of the New Jesus Awakening.

We are the New Jesus Awakening.

It is a global movement, blowing up on all continents and in every country on the planet. It is multi-national, multi-cultural, and multi-lingual.

We are deeply devoted to King Jesus.

We are passionately pursuing the face of the Father, both individually and corporately.

We pursue the Presence of Holy Spirit in our lives.

We radically embrace our God-given Identities: Son/Daughters, Worshipers, Royal Priests, Citizens of Heaven.

We live and flow in a new form of Divine Leadership. We embrace ‘horizontal’ leadership by character and example in our midst, and are somewhat allergic to ‘vertical’ leadership with its’ pyramids and power-structures.

We gather together in unique and eclectic ways, unlike the Church of the last 200 years.

We are constantly pressing in to serve King Jesus and extend His Kingdom to those around us.

We passionately and aggressively seek the Manifest Presence of God, both continually in our lives and in our gatherings.

We are daily growing in the perception of God’s continued communication with us. Moving in the prophetic is part of the atmosphere we breathe.

We find ourselves as ‘misfits’ in modern Church life and culture, which has resulted in great difficulty for many in the New Jesus Awakening to attend many smaller churches.

We host outpourings and visitations of God, no matter with whom He chooses to visit.

We love to worship extravagantly and for long periods of time. The usual ‘Sunday morning three songs and preaching’ thing doesn’t fit us well. We love to gather, pray, intercede, worship, sing, and… allow the Manifest Presence of Jesus and the working of Holy Spirit to ‘do what He loves to do’.

Worship music is really important to us. Really important.

We love sound, solid Biblical teaching and testimonies.

When we gather, we know that the Lord comes and does what He likes to do; heal, re-align, set people free, bring His Kingdom into our midst. This usually involves signs, wonders, miracles, healing and deliverance from oppression and the grip of darkness.

As people who have experienced great Freedom in King Jesus, we are not shaken by the environment of healing, deliverance and miracles, meaning… yeah, it gets messy, people yell and scream, but the Freedom on the other side is worth it.

We are keenly aware that we alive because He continually speaks to us, both through the written Scriptures and throughout our daily lives. We embrace Prophetic ministry as the Holy Spirit manifests it in our midst.

In most circumstances, we are a Movement without a formal structure. We have people who have roots from every denomination and flow within Christendom, but are not restricted to labels and tribes.

When those in the New Jesus Awakening meet together… look out!

We love meeting together. We love to take Communion together. We are actually a part of a [slow-awareness] Revival called the ‘Great Communion Revival’. [look it up on-line]. For us, Communion is not just some ritual or symbolic action… it means SO much more to us.

We are becoming a FOURTH FLOW within the flow of the Great River that is the Body of Christ. The New Jesus Awakening will flow along with the Liturgical/Historic, the Evangelical/Fundamental and the Pentecostal/Charismatic flows.

We have taken on the mantles of ‘Revivalists’, since that is what we hope our lives will spark as we live out our lives ‘Corem Deo’ [under the continual gaze of God].

We are the New Jesus Awakening.

We are coming to someplace near you, and we are un-stoppable!
